One day his grand nephew Reggie is killed in a drive by and Ptolemy is left with no one to take care of him. His niece has a friend's daughter staying with her and this young girl becomes best friends with Ptolemy. Robyn cleans up his house, gets rid of the bugs and mice and eventually moves in with him to take care of him.
A couple of reviews back I mentioned that the story was written completely in uneducated, farm wife speak and that it got annoying after a while. This book is also in a vernacular, but it isn't annoying because that vernacular is only spoken when the character himself speaks. The narration of the book is in normal language.
I really enjoyed this book because the story of Ptolemy and Robyn was so sweet. I definitely recommend this to everyone.
