Lucy can't leave the possibility alone that she has a relative she has never heard of and begins a quest to find out everything she can about this woman. This leads to several museums in the area - including one on the Women's movement.
Throughout this search is woven the story of a lost love interest from high-school, her current love interest, Yoshi who is on his way from Japan to come meet Lucy's family for the first time and a mystery surrounding a fight her father and Uncle had years before.
This book was interesting to me because of the Women's Movement aspect of it. I thought it was interesting to read about a woman who was involved with the Women's Movement 100 years ago.
One thing that bothered me about the book was there were so relatives and people involved historically that it was hard to keep people straight. I also thought some of the story line was superfluous - it could have been put in another book. Overall though, the book was a good read.
