Remote Feed is a collection of short stories that were intriguing to read.
'Cool Moss' is about a couple that gets invited to a party with the 'in' people in the neighborhood. They are initially excited to go and are well received by the Greers - the host and hostess. But as the evening progresses, both of the Greers spout various racial slurs making the newly acquainted couple uncomfortable.
The title story, 'Remote Feed' is about a reporter waiting in a bar for the First Lady to arrive in some tropical location. He's drunk, bored and not interested in the First Lady in any way. When the scheduled arrival of her plane comes, the reporter (Zev) finds himself on the tarmac with his photographer partner. Zev's lack of interest soon turns to horror as the First Lady debarks the plan and shows off a particularly unappealing part of her anatomy.
Each of the stories in Remote Feed have a little 'gotcha' moment and waiting for the 'gotcha' is part of the fun of reading this book.
