Part of the contract is that there is someone - a Graveminder who must mind the graves so the dead don't wake up and an Undertaker who must protect the Graveminder.
This book was so frustrating to read because the first half or more of the book was one set of people telling another set of people that they couldn't know a secret - yet (I haven't told that secret - or at least much of it). They could know it soon, but not yet. The book was just one big tease and when you finally found out the secret it was not only confusing because the characters and who they were aren't really explained, but it was sort of a let down.
Plus, this book was a barely veiled attempt at making a book about 'other worldly events' but really it was just a book about a love story. And I really am not into love stories for the sake of love stories. And that is what this book was. I am OK with a book that is about one thing and also has a love story in it, but this book WAS a love story and also had something else in it. I am sure a lot of people really liked the book, I however, was annoyed with most of it.
